I have had a lifelong passion for local governance, but the timing was never quite right for me to explore a career in politics. Now is the time. With the encouragement and support of many long-term residents as well as a few well-known St. Albertans, I am seeking a position on St. Albert city council.
Through my passion for St. Albert, I have sat for two terms as a member of St. Albert's Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, am a current member of the St. Albert Assessment Review Board and am an active volunteer in the community and a current member of the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce. I believe that the transition to city council will be a natural progression.
A paralegal for most of my career, I have worked in private-practice law firms as well as not-for-profit organizations as a paralegal/office administrator and would bring solid leadership skills to a new council. Born in the Capital Region, we moved to St. Albert in 2014. I’m married to Glenn and together we have a blended family of children and grandchildren.
I stand for strong leadership, fiscal responsibility, collaboration, transparency and good governance.
